When I first moved from Los Angeles to Champaign the change of scenery was huge. In the place of glamorous streets and beautify beaches there were cornfields—miles and miles of them. It all became and exercise of finding the beauty in the simple things. It has been and it’s being a transformative experience. Click through for a collection of Midwestern scenes.
